SELECTION AND RECEPTION OF RAW MATERIAL


Al though it doesn't account for everything, it is very important to start from top quality raw material. Each growing country produces a different type of coffee with specific organic properties. 

At CAFÉS CIVIT, coffee from different origins is mixed to obtain a balance and to suit particular tastes and preferences. Coffee is something more than a strong or weak, sweet or bitter drink. We usually use these words we usually when asked for an opinion on a specific kind of coffee. 

On the other hand, as you probably already know, coffee is a natural product and the harvests are not always identical. In our daily business at CAFÉS CIVIT we strive to produce coffee mixtures that meet our consumers' requirements and preferences, such as flavour, consistency and sourness. 

At CAFÉS CIVIT our commitment to quality starts from the very beginning in the coffee selection. To guarantee quality we use the most modern technology to remove all the impurities originating from the coffee harvest in its countries of origin. Impurities such as sticks and stones are extracted by stone-removing machines, batteries of magnet, sieve tables and so on. Our use of the most modern technology contrasts with the hand-inspection of each item by our personnel. We follow a rigorous procedure to verify that each item is correct and conforms to all the quality specifications.
